I have been a recovering alcoholic for 25 years. it is a struggle I pretty much go through alone where my family is concerned. I have supportive people who are always there for me but my family only sees the drunk me. I recently had a relapse and immediately went to a meeting and talk with my sponser daily if not more. my family sees me right back where I was 20 years ago and do not get this a daily struggle. does anyone have any advice on how to handle this. I just feel they will never see or accept who I am :? :? :?
