supporting my fiance in staying sober

Post by Bglancey » Wed Dec 09, 2015 11:40 pm

Hello, My fiance is currently serving a sentence for commiting a DUI. He is determined to get help and stay sober. I am also a recovering alcohol who quit the very day (7 years ago) when I found out that I was pregnant with my oldest child. I have, by the grace of God, managed to stay sober without attending AA myself. I am looking to try a few meetings to get s feel for whats around for when he gets home. If he wishes, when he gets home, I will attend as many as I can with him (around my working schedule). I am looking for any suggestions and maybe any nearby meetings that may even offer childcare, if possible. I have no free babysitters and cannot afford to pay anyone either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
