Hi shann221,

Yes, Al-anon will help you a lot. It will help you with yourself, you will get a better understanding of his disease by listening to other people's stories, you will realize that you are not alone, you will get to talk openly about how you feel to people who completely understand what you are going through, you will get a sponsor, and so on. Going to Al-anon is a gift to yourself.

Hi,
I am new to this looking for information. Need help my husband suffers for drug addiction and alcoholism. I come to the point where after 15 years of marriage he is not going to change I am the one who has to change . Will al-anon be able to benefit me ( will they help me with myself or just help me with him) I don't know I am so lost. Any help will be great.
I also need information on meetings for al-anon (for someone new) (first time) in the Philadelphia Pa area. Again any information I would love to have.
Thank you
shann221
