I am on - soboxone as well, but kind of, not by choice. I waited 5 months to get an appt w/ the psych and when I got there, he asked me if I was there for sob???? I said NO. He did not understand and asked - why was I there????? I told him I had terrible depression, for years, had just gotten out of rehab for tramadol, ultram abuse and wanted to straighten out my anti depressant and get some counseling. He told me that he highly recommended I go on sob. I told him I thought that was a horrible idea, as I had heard of people in rehab to get off of it, and I did not want to be addicted to something else. He went on. I really think you should be on sob. You should be on sob. I definitely think you should be on sob. I finally said I would try it. Now..............2 years later, I do not want to be on sob, and am pissed that I know it is a huge withdrawal process. I do not understand prescribing an addictive drug to an addict.
