Hi, my name is Kya. My father is 60 years old. He has been addicted to various drugs since he was 12. A little over a week ago, he overdosed on heroin. He was found face down on the floor of his business, unresponsive. He is now in rehab. Somehow, this is his first time there. My entire family is encouraging me to see a therapist, find a support group, etc., but I can't make myself. I'm too angry to process. So, this is my way of reaching out. Feel free to talk to me at any time about any part of addiction. I just want to feel less alone in this.
