How can I help my neighbor's alcoholic daughter?

Post by Feisty » Mon Feb 09, 2015 12:16 am

I am a recovering alcoholic and I have a very dear neighbor who has a daughter is an alcoholic and is becoming very, very sick. My neighbor called me and doesn't know what to do. Her daughter asked her if she could come home. My neighbor doesn't think this is a good idea and she wanted to know what I thought. I struggled for three years until I could finally accept my powerlessness and moved a thousand miles away to Florida for three months and lived in a sober living arrangement. It worked for me and I am now living a happy, joyous sober life. My neighbor is wondering if this could help her daughter. Her daughter is in her early thirties and I'm not sure if she is willing. I really want to help in any way I can. Just like people who helped me.
