Fred P., 40+ years sobriety, has passed away

Post by Colleen » Sat Aug 24, 2019 8:46 pm

My name is Colleen R., now living in Pasadena, Ca. I lived in Philly from 1973 to 1976 and was friends with many AA members, including Jeremy S. and Freddie P. [tall and thin with curly red hair, loved to play guitar]. Freddie and I have kept in touch intermittently, but I never knew any of his family or friends. Last night I got a call from the Medical Examiner as my # was in Freddie's phone. He was found yesterday in his apt., having passed to spirit. He was a wonderful, funny, and kind guy and I know he had many friends but I don't know how to reach anyone, except for maybe through this blog. Hopefully, someone in the Program will have already found out, and will know to grieve and honor him. I hate to think of his passing unmourned. Thank you for this forum, I hope I haven't posted here wrongly.
