I myself am an addict, for 1/2 of my life, I am now 51. I have been in recovery now for 5 yrs. my son has now taken my place. he started when he was 14yrs, mainly weed. the past 2yrs he has been addicted 2 oxy's, buying them off the street. he has destroyed our lives. he has stole from me......money, checks, debit cards, jewelry, household items, ect.... my trust 4 him has dissipated & I cant seem 2 get it back. I have been sleeping with my purse for 4m now. I can 4get the things he has said & done, but I cant 4get the feeling of it all. I am going 2 my 1st alanon meeting Friday hoping ican get some answers.
