I stopped drinking a year and a half ago.I went through withdrawals ,and had delusions and didn't eat or sleep.Things are no better.I have no appetite, insomnia, memory problems.Meds didn't work.not even ect therapy.I have lost over 20 pounds, and am underweight.I drank for almost 40 years.I haven't talked to anyone that has experienced this.I feel I have permanent brain damage.
