I think we all need friends. I am here if anyone wants to talk. I tried talking to family members and friends but I cant explain to them what I myself do not fully understand. I am having trouble finding good AA meetings in my area and it does not help that I lost my driver's license so it makes it even more difficult to get to meetings. I dont even know why I am drinking, UGH feeling so lost.

I just quit drinking yesterday. Definitely detoxing. I don't have time to go to meetings because of school and work. Just reaching out. I have been drinking almost a liter a day for the past 2 and a half years. Every few weeks I'd take a few days off to detox cause I was sick. I really have to quit. My life is depending on it. Trying to finish college and build a life.
