I just started dating a guy who attends AA meetings and I am very proud of him and supportive, but I want to better understand what he goes through and what inspires him at these meetings. I want to attend a meeting in a different town to better understand him and offer him better support.
My question is: Will people at the meetings find it rude or be offended if I attend a meeting just to get a better understanding of these meetings? I don't want to offend anybody.

No, people will not be offended..not everyone sticks to the same meeting places..you are allowed to explore different meetings and places.
