I have a 30 year old child who is in need of help for Alcoholism. How can I help her get started with a group support meeting?

Offer to go with her and do it without judgement or blame. Be loving and don't enable but don't criticize either. She's not drinking to hurt anyone but herself and she doesn't need help hating herself for it. I wish my parents would even try to understand or take me to a meeting. Instead they destroyed my life and took everything away from me including my kids which only made my problems a 1000 times worse and I'm still drowning most days.

I feel bad reading this. I am guilty of making my daughter feel bad because I’m so scared and worried for her and her 2 yr old daughter. I’m gonna try to back off.
