A couple people responded to my blog that I try a rehab for prescription valium addiction. Problem with that is I'm uninsured. Are there places to go for people without insurance benefits??

Tired: You can definitely get help with no insurance. I was in Penn Recovery Center in Sellersville for 7 days, which is very short term. If you want to contact Penn, their phone number is 215-257-9999. I originally contacted them and they then contacted Bucks County Drug and Alcohol for funding. I had already done an application for medical assistance on my own, and it did kick in wile I was in rehab, but I went in under Bucks County D & A funding. The first step is calling someone and letting them know you need help. Since I have gotten out of rehab, I have gone to NA meeting and there is a huge listing of them available on the internet. I will keep you in my prayers.

Anyone looking in the area of Philadelphia, there is one not many think of as a drug rehab-Belmont on Monument Rd. Philadelphia, PA. This is still known for mental health issues as well, but has a separate section for drug/alcohol addiction. I was treated for drug addiction there a few years ago and they also have an outpatient clinic also. Nice to know and put the word out there this is not just a mental health facility. They were also starting a program/meetings for just coke addiction at night. Thought I would just share with you. :|
