Ambian addiction

Hey fenderman,
I was addicted to Ambien CR 12.5mg for 5 yrs and I finally got myself off of it because everytime I took it, it started giving me crazy hallucinations that would last longer and longer. Not sure why that happened, but it was pretty painful getting off of it, didn't sleep really for 10 days but I made it through. Had to go back on a sleeping aid though - now I'm on Trazadone and it doesn't give me any hallucinations thankfully - maybe you can try that. Wean off it slowly, I made the mistake of going cold turkey. Good luck
