i was put on opiates for pain relief and now it has been 7 months in assortment of different pain meds at all different milligrams. i can make it about 12 days i now go back to using them and i am having a hard time staying away from them. Alot of the problem is when i wake up in the a.m i dont know what to do with myself or how to start my day and i get so bored during the day that opiates seems to be all i think about even though i dont even like taking them and their destroying my health and my life. I dont know what to do and how to stay away from them i know about meeting etc, but my battle is dealing with myself and boredom.I guess in laments terms i am asking for advice on how to stay away from them and for constructive ways to keep my mind of them and when i get cravings. ive been sober from alcohol for over 2 years and ive run into this problem. If anyone has any CONSTRUCTIVE advice please feel free to share.
