7 days clean now what?

Unread postby trying4life11 » Tue Feb 17, 2015 1:44 pm

Hi everyone, I have 7 days clean and now I'm really starting to struggle. After all the withdrawal and bad days I had. I am starting to get bad anxiety, depressed, and feeling hopeless. I am so worried that I cannot do simple things without using. I did have clean time in the past just one year. But this time I have no reservations and really need to stay clean for myself and others. I am really making myself really nervous. I am going to a meeting tomorrow after work hope that helps. Honestly will I ever be right? Will I be able to do normal things again without using and enjoy and have energy? What are the long term effects of me using? I have so many things going on any advice on the future of sobriety and what to come and what to do. Thanks everyone

Hi: Congratulations on your new sobriety. You might consider more than one meeting a day and get a sponsor as soon as possible. You can't do this alone. That is why meetings are helpful. Reach out. Others who have gone before you will reach back.
