New to Boards - 2nd Try at AA

Unread postby lucky13dlaw » Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:36 pm

Hello. My name is Dave, and I am obviously an alcoholic. I haven't touched a drop since Monday, March 18th, because my wife asked me for a seperation. I think that I could possibly do it alone without the help of others, but then I realized that we are all going through the same thing....so here I am. I wasn't a daily drinker, but, when I did drink, there were periods of times I had no idea what happened the night before. A times, I could stop at on, but at other times I didn't know when to stop. I lost my license and my job because of alcohol, and now I am facing losing my wife and family. It's time to get serious!!
