Ex boyfriend and our daughter

Unread postby Cynthiae » Sat Apr 26, 2014 12:31 pm

My ex for nearly all his life lied cheated and did some pretty unhealthy things. I tried for over 3 years to believe he would do better. Now that he has some months clean he acts like he's fit to be a parent when he was absent most of the time from his older daughter also. Demanding that I hand our 2 year old over for him to walk off for a visit. I really feel he should only have supervised visits until he gets his legal issues squared away and has some parenting and anger classes. I mean really he did get arrested for assaulting me last year. They dropped it because I moved and never tried to contact me. They had my phone # and even if they mailed me a notice I would have gotten it due to my mail forwarding. I don't know why it bugs me so, much it just really gets my goat that he feels so entitled after all of this. I had no one to get this out to at the moment so I guess here is better than nothing. Maybe someone has some of their own experience with how they may have dealt with something like this. I am thinking I will go to the custody court abuse unit because he thinks his lawyer will be able to get him unsupervised visit. This worries me with his history. Thanks to any of you that have experience with this.
