GRATITUDE

Unread postby mommaferg » Thu May 10, 2007 9:16 pm

Hello to all, I have AA back in my life and the gratitude that comes with it. I know i can handle life on lifes terms without a DRINK. I can get my feelings out at a meeting and know that everyone understands what i am going through. My husband picked up a drink (we got sober together 10 years ago) a year ago and i carried that weight around all that time and picked up myself during the process, FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS. NEVER WANT TO FEEL THAT WAY AGAIN. "ALL THE I NEVER'S HAPPENED". I don't want to relive that crazy life again. Husband is out for 2 weeks now. My 5 CHILDREN know whats up - according to him they shouldn't know - WELL THE SMELLED THE ALCOHOL, what am i suppose to bathed him too. Every time we talk i speak AA and thats it......the lies and denial are just so deep from him....it gets me enraged. But for the grace of GOD there go I....For anyone out there debating if you should go to meetings - DO IT GO IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT.....I FEEL SO MORE ALIVE THEN I HAVE IN A LONG TIME....KEEP COMING BACK!!!
